Dear Friend of Thrive,
I ask that you consider a sponsorship for Thrive’s 12th Annual Bids & Blues Fundraiser. On October 9, 2023, we will gather for an evening of great food, a silent auction and raffle, and acoustic blues music by Eric Congdon, to raise funds so Thrive can carry out its mission.
Thrive is a nonprofit organization that helps people with mental health and housing needs to move from surviving to thriving in the community; we do this with 3 programs. First is the Housing Case Management program that helps people experiencing homelessness to not only move into housing, but to receive the supportive case management they need to help them achieve housing stability for the long run. Next is the Clubhouse Day Program for adults with severe and persistent mental illness. The Clubhouse helps members in a myriad of ways including improving vocational skills, relationship skills, improving mental and physical health, and improving daily living skills. Finally, we have a Rep Payee Program that helps adults who receive Social Security or Disability income but can’t manage their funds on their own. We pay their bills on their behalf in order to avoid eviction and help clients achieve financial stability.
Our 11th Annual Bids & Blues event at Point Lookout Vineyards was our most successful Bids & Blues to date, with approximately 150 guests and more than $48,000 raised for our mental health and housing programs. As you can see, this event is well-known in the community and is an excellent investment where marketing is concerned.
I am more than happy to speak with you if you would like more information about our organization and our mission. Please contact me if you have any additional questions and thank you so much for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Tracey Gruver, MA
